Windows - Support - XP technical support - 6 months rolling Switzerland La Chaux-de-Fonds

  • Manage the day to day support for end users using the Service Now tool & provide feedback and knowledge solutions to the Service Desk on common issues.

  • Assist in the implementation of corporate IS standards for Hardware & Software, at a local level.

  • Install, maintain and troubleshoot PC's, printers and peripherals ensuring standard image is loaded and ensure anti virus is loaded on all desktops and Servers and patch levels are up to date on all systems.

  • Provide technical guidance to other staff members, as required.

  • Documentation of, and adherence to IS processes and procedures, as required including Global Change Control.

  • Be an advocate of IT Service Management processes.

  • Responsible for liaising with Manufacturing on desk side systems to ensure IS standards are maintained on these systems.

  • Lead discussions on business projects in matters related to IS hardware & Software

  • Provide support to solutions on the Shop Floor that are supported by IS.

  • Ensure solutions implemented adhere to Global IS standards.

  • Purchasing, installation and maintenance of IT equipment.

  • Perform maintenance tasks on other IS equipment to instructions provided by the relevant IS global teams.

  • Ensure the data centers are maintained to the Global IS Standard.

  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure reporting is in place to manage SLA's.

  • Work on approved Global IS Projects, or other requests as defined by IS Leadership.
