For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Basel, Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:
Professional Network Engineer
Tasks:
- Ensuring the smooth operation and economic efficiency of network infrastructures using modern tried and tested technologies
- Planning and installation of networks (equipment and components) for the locations in region EMEA
- Execute important routine tasks eg updating network drawings, complete installation documentation support handover to Global Network Operations Center (GNOC)
- Deployment of network components based on given standard configurations
- Identifying and solving hardware and software errors and faults in the network.
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of current network technologies of large enterprises
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in switching and routing and associated protocols
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with either network infrastructure in Data-Center environments or Wide Area Network
- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certificate
- WLAN, SLB, CUG and WAN acceleration knowledge is a plus
- Fluency in English
Starting date: 01.03.2016
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Location: Basel (100% onsite)
