Project environment
A Swiss Insurance Company.
Tasks
• As part of the Cloud Architecture Team you will design the Cloud Architecture of business applications and infrastructure.
• You document your Cloud Architecture know-how in blueprints so that future solution can be easily integrated.
• You document the existing Cloud Architecture and support the change process.
• You identify the technical debt in architecture and implementation and propose changes to the owners.
• You trigger and support infrastructure product owners in compiling a comprehensive roadmap towards Cloud, Infrastructure as a Code & Zero Impact of Maintenance.
Requirements
• Ideally, you started your career as a Software Developer, gained exposure to developing complex Server-Side Applications using Java/JEE.
• Based on your experience as Software Architect, Lead Developer, or similar, you understand different Software Development Processes and Methods and you are familiar with all stages of the SDLC.
• You have a good Infrastructure Expertise and you can lead the Design & Architecture Management with our infrastructure product engineers (e.g. storage, network, databases).
• Infrastructure Architecture, Cloud Experience and another complex technology stack is a plus.
• The requirements of Financial & Insurance Industry in terms of business continuity and data protection are well known.
• You can make connections between the big picture level and technical details to assess quality and identify risks.
Soft skills
• Fluency in English and German, written and spoken.
• You have a passion for technology and a quality gene.
