For a short term project at our clients‘ site, a global bank based here in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedSolution Architect (3563)
In this role you will architect the large, transformational programs envisaged for the enterprise, such as: custom application development, business partner systems integration, vendor software selection, deployment and customization. You will also collaborate with stakeholders drawn from IT and the Business, subject matter experts, delivery teams, enterprise architects and business analysts to develop architecture for processes related to the company's initiatives.
Your qualifications:
-15 years of experience in specification, design, development and maintenance of enterprise-scale mission critical distributed systems with demanding functional and non-functional requirements
-10 years of experience successfully leading the architecture of large, integrated enterprise-level projects with multiple integration points and associated stakeholder groups
-Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field of study; equivalent work experience may be considered
-Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Expert in communicating complex, nuanced technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
-10 years of experience with SOA concepts, including the design and construction of web/data services, interface specifications and security mechanisms
-10 years of experience designing and building complex solutions and applications with relational databases
-10 years of logic algorithms, design patterns, optimizations and other development approaches
-8 years of hands-on, direct experience in delivering complex server-side solutions in modern Object Orientated languages
-10 years of Web and other front-end components and technologies
Nice to have:
-Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field of study
-Leadership experience in architecture development and project delivery
-Strong abilities troubleshooting and tuning distributed environments processing high volume of transactions
-Experience with data integration concepts and technologies, e.g. data mastering, reference data, governance and quality concerns
-Experience with technologies such as: MS SQL Server, Oracle DB, C#, Java, ETL (Informatica), Tableau, HTML5, Java Script
-Comprehensive technical understanding of systems, databases, networking, and computing environments
-Experience with enterprise architecture
-Familiarity with Agile methodology, Scaled Agile framework, Scrum/Kanban delivery approaches
-Experience with designing and delivering complex, financial services solutions
-Possesses a positive attitude, excellent communicator and collaborator with the ability to work independently and decisively as needed
About the role:
-Translate business requirements (functional and non-functional) into technical architectural designs
-Engaging with the Asset Management technology teams for system integration of the data sources, cross-collaborating with other architects, technical leads and security risk teams
-Provide guidelines/best practices and direction to delivery leads with respect to business process, application architecture, database modeling and infrastructural or deployment needs
-Contribute to a fundamental and transformational program. As such, our Solution Architects must possess excellence in: project leadership, software design & analysis, development methodologies, oral/written communication & presentation skills, technology planning, requirements analysis, application rationalization analysis, and total cost analysis
-Participate in development of technology road map
-Identify and pursue process and technology improvements to solve problems
-Cultivate cross-functional relationships fostering trust, collaboration and collegiality
