For a 6 months project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

Splunk Test Manager / Test Engineer (3547)

The successful candidate will work with the quality team, developing test plans according to the requirements of releases for Splunk. You will be tasked to manage the Test creation, Test Data preparations, and Test executions by a team locally and offshore.

Qualifications:

- Overall work wxperience: Minimum 10 Years
- Extensive technical expertise within Testing area, ideally within banking
- Experience in Splunk is a must have
- Project Management experience of advantage
- Experience enusring that processes, deliverables and responsibilities are fully aligned with strategic priorities
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills
- Fluency in English

Tasks:

- Ensure adherence to the testing standards, processes and methodologies to ensure efforts are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet client / customer expectations.
- Responsible for diving deep and understanding technical details, scope, business usage, and operational usage for assembling the estimates, project plans and team work assignments
- Directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
- Responsible for tracking key milestones and adjusting plans to meet the needs of customers.
- Develops the project test strategy, supporting business case, quality expectations, and project testing plans.
- Coordinates communication within the project team of impacts to scope, estimates, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
- Communicate the project test strategy and provides signoff of the test readiness of the project release.
- Assist Project Managers to identify and prioritize opportunities to achieve the goals of the Splunk solution defined by the bank
- Reviewing test coverage for test data, requirements, and test cases.
- Drive improvements within the project to ensure effective and efficient testing.
