For a long term project at our client site in Zurich, an international bank, we are looking for several experienced

Junior Business Analysts – Risk Management (3518)

In this task force, you will be planning and conducting Model Control Reviews mainly planning and conducting procedural, operational and compliance front-to-back Model Control Reviews along input, processing, and output / reporting components including visualization in model process maps, summarizing results and necessary remediation measures in written reports, These reviews cover all material risk models and are also part of the delivery package for the annual US Dodd-Frank Act Stress Test and Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR).

The reviews are done in close collaboration with teams across the bank in various locations, including model owners, quantitative model validation teams, Risk, IT, Treasury, Operations, Finance, and business functions.

Your qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree (possible backgrounds include finance, economics, business administration)
- 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a regulated environment within Risk Management (e.g. - Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Treasury Risk) / Audit
- Previous exposure to risk models in a financial institution
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English
- Conceptual understanding of quantitative and qualitative risk management techniques and financial mathematics
- Cooperative and team-oriented, while able to complete tasks independently with high quality standards
- Self-motivated, thorough and responds well to pressure, ability to adhere to tight deadlines and meet client needs

Key Responsibilities

- Getting an overview of the CCAR model landscape
- Planning and conducting Model Control Reviews for a wide variety of CCAR models
- Summarizing results in written reports
- Following up on identified control gaps and monitoring progress on remediation measures
- Providing guidance and training to stakeholders on qualitative model control topics
