for an Application Manager (f/m) for Investment Monitoring and Suitability Check Tools

Project environment

A Swiss Private Bank.

Tasks

• Service Management:
o Support Service Owner in lifecycle planning of applications.
o Support IT Service Owner in defining and managing OLAs for IT Services (Applications) based on different service level agreements.
• Domain/Application Specific Know How:
o Write detailed documentation for the operation of the application.
o Maintain application system documentation.
• Architecture and standards:
o Support the solution architect in the definition of application specific architecture and solution, integrate into overall architecture.
o Support “Chief Programmer” in the implementation of configuration management guidelines to cope with application specifics.
• Design, Build, Test of IT Service:
o Support the impact analysis of new requirements on the application.
o Define and implement operations tasks for the application.
o Support the definition of test cases and test execution regarding the application.
o Define event management and instrumentation of applications to generate meaningful events (application level).
o Participate in application test preparation and test execution (IT view – interfaces, operational readiness tests etc.).
• Operations:
o 2nd level support for applications (incident analysis and resolution).
o Perform re-occurring maintenance tasks wherever necessary (e.g. data loads, regular check of IT logfiles, provide statistics related to the application).

Requirements

• Excellent understanding of MS SQL.
• Good knowledge in .NET.
• Understanding of software development/ customization processes.
• Experience in application management.
• Experience in 2nd/3rd Level Support.
• Capability to analyze complex and poorly defined problems related to the application and to provide solutions with minimal guidance from the superiors.
• Knowledge in financial sector is a plus.
• SQL Certificates, .NET Certificates, Banking Certificates are a plus.

Soft skills

• Fluency in English and German.
• Team player, very good organizational and excellent analytical skills.
• Capability to analyze complex and poorly defined problems.
• Commitment and passion for deliver high quality solutions with reasonable amount of effort.
