Next Ventures is urgently seeking an experienced German speaking Procurement Specialist.
Our client will be transitioning a few manufacturing sites to third party ownership and will need to transfer/transition existing systems, licenses, and subscriptions to the new owner/operators of those sites. This project will be led by the Software Category manager, who will require dedicated support to help the business transition its software assets. We are therefore seeking a temporary resource that can support the Software Category Manager with this initiative.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Providing administrative and project coordination support to Category Manager
2. Reviewing and summarizing key contractual terms in software/licensing agreements
3. Maintaining an inventory of licenses/subscriptions, along with transition status
4. Supporting Category Manager in negotiations with suppliers
5. Following up with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure action items are completed
6. Coordinating the transport, transfer and execution of various contractual documents
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
1. Experience with reading/redlining software contracts
2. Knowledge of common licensing models and associated contractual structures
3. Strong attention to detail
4. Strong communication skills. English and German language preferred.
