Risk Control Specialist wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.
Your tasks:
- Act as a business lead to support Group Risk Control (GRC) and the Risk Control Operations team with the implementation of changes related to the Basel Committee principles for effective risk data aggregation and risk reporting
- Work closely with the global Risk Control Operations team, the programme team, the Risk Strategic Change team and Risk IT to provide business input and steering on key deliverables
- Ensuring the effective implementation and running of data governance bodies within GRC
- Work with other teams to ensure the implementation of a robust data issue management process for GRC
- Provide general management support to the Risk Control Operations team within Switzerland
Your experience/skills:
- Minimum 5 years' experience within a Risk Control function
- Solid understanding of Credit Risk, Market Risk, Treasury Risk and Operational Risk
- Project management skills: ability to manage a wide range of objectives with conflicting and competing priorities; ability to plan ahead and pre-empt key issues; ability to drive forward with little supervision
- Experience in dealing with data within a large organization
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Fluent English both written and spoken
