For our customer, we would like to fill the following vacancy:

Project Manager for the Windows 10+ project

Background:
Our customer is launching the project for the global Windows 10 migration The following items will be upgraded:
• Windows 7 to Windows 10
• Internet Explorer 10 to Internet Explorer 11
• Microsoft Office 2010 to Microsoft Office 2016

Our customer globally needs to adapt to these changes in all sites and across all functions and is seeking support fulfill the global Windows 10+ project demands.

Dia Project Manager Purpose:
This role is the internal counterpart to the Global Windows 10+ project manager to cover the specific aspects of the project.

The job holder will report to the Head of End User Services, they will also have a dotted line report to the Windows 10+ Global Project Manager and closely collaborate with the business stakeholders, application owners etc.
Project language is English. High proficiency in working virtually is a must.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Drive adaptation of Windows 10 and Internet Explorer 11 within the company
• Set up project organization on customer side in accordance with Windows 10+ project
• RAID mgmt. - Tracking and reporting of Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and Decisions
• Act as escalation point for application readiness testing and liaise with the Business
• Application Owners
• Work with internal sites and business to align on rollout needs and transport requirements to
• Windows 10+ project
• Track project progress on internal side and making progress visible to customer's leadership
• Obtain buy in from all affected stakeholders for the changes brought by the Windows 10+ project

Qualifications:
• University Degree or equivalent education ( Engineering, Management or Computer science preferred)
• 7+ Experience in IT project management
• Experience in Client rollout projects
• CSV background and experience in working with IT Quality
• Experience in detailed planning and tracking of projects with multiple project stakeholders
• Leadership of external / internal staff
• Experience in virtual, international team settings
• Cross functional communication and negotiation skills? proven track record of handling escalations on all levels IT internally as well as between business and IT
• Experience in handling difficult situations with conflicting priorities and interests
• Desired: Understanding of OCM and Business Analysis
• Business fluent in English, both verbally and in writing

Nice to Have:
+++ Experience working in pharma is preferred
++ German is a plus
+ PM certification is a nice to have

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager that is able to communicate within all levels. The candidate shall have Client-Rollout experience in a leading role. He/she shall have experience in approaching also Change Management activities and the influences that it might have.
Travelling will be required within Switzerland and Germany up to 10% (2-4 days/month)

Starting from Jan 2016 onward 100% availability (40 hours a week) is required.
Timeframe: 12 months +
Remote work an option up to 20%, prior approval required.
Place of work: larger Basel area
