We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a global pharmaceutical company based Basel, this is expected to be a short contract, starting in January (possibility to be extended).
You will work with a Business Analyst and in close collaboration with a Business Solution Manage in order to assess the solution landscape.
You will help define a medium-long term IT roadmap for a key business stakeholder in a specific department, this department consists of Product Managers. The successful candidate will perform analytical and conceptual activities to an accounted solution portfolio against internal business customers.
You will provide consultancy and support in defining and documenting the outcome of strategic analysis, by working on his/her own but also by taking part in meetings with IT and business representatives.

- Developing business-specific organizational solutions
- Dealing with organizational problems
- Focusing in particular on process organization and single tasks.
Requirements:
- Senior-level experience in business analysis in the pharmaceutical industry, at both strategic and tactical level
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong synthesis and presentation skills
- Business process modelling skills
- Able to document business cases
- Able to gather and document business and IT requirements
- Experience in defining IT roadmaps
- Experience in interacting with senior management
- Proven track of records (mandatory)
- Goal-oriented
- Teamwork-oriented
- Able to deal with a steep learning curve about the scope of the assessment and to become productive in a very short time
- English language: full professional proficiency (both spoken and written)
