Project environment
A global Swiss Bank is looking for a good security and technically aware Senior Project Manager (f/m) who can drive multiple related projects through the entire project life-cycle including adherence to the internal quality gates, can build a highly performing team of BA's, engineers and architects, influence the successful outcome of the deployment by infrastructure services, ensure scope of the project is delivered to time, quality and budget boundaries agreed.
Tasks
• Organizes and leads the project and the team (i.e. plans and manages allocated resources, shapes priorities, coordinates interactions with customers and users and keeps the project team focused) on mandate of Program Manager.
• Manages relationship with all project stakeholders (CIO function, Business, BSM, Interface partners, etc.).
• Coordinates regularly with the Business Project Lead concerning requirements, project plan and reporting.
• Ensures efficient project governance – roles and responsibilities.
• Provides the project plan and updates it as needed (deadlines, milestones, delivery, requested and planned resources etc.).
• Schedules and manages the project according to the project management plan and ensures all relevant project deliveries during all phases.
• Establishes a set of practices that ensure the integrity and quality of project work products.
• Ensures all necessary sign-offs according to the guidelines and performs all relevant reviews.
Requirements
• At least 10 years professional experience in project management.
• Experience in both Infrastructure and IT-Security is required.
• Experience in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), the domain of the application and platform.
• English language excellence (proficiency level).
• PMI, IPM, Prince or equivalent education / certification in project management.
• Presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Leadership and team building capabilities.
• Conflict resolution, problem solving skills, and the ability to make sound decisions under stress.
• Bank experience is an asset.
