For a project at our banking clients’ site in Luzern we are looking for an experienced

Java Software Engineer (3408)

To design and implement new functionalities for Client Tax Reporting we are looking for an experienced java software engineer with the following skills:

- At least 6 years hands-on experience in development of web applications with Java
- Good knowledge of EJB 3.x, JSF 2.x, JMS, JPA, JUnit, SQL, XML, Web-Services
- Knowledge of design patterns (certification would be an advantage)
- Experience with agile and test driven development
- Experience with Eclipse IDE, SVN
- Experience with Oracle DB, Linux/Unix shell, Corba, Maven, Ant, Weblogic
- Experience with agile methodologies (scrum/iterative, JIRA, stories)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Effective and solution oriented
- Team player
- German and English fluent (w/s)

Job Responsibilities:
- Development of Java business logic components with EJB, JPA, JMS
- Development of Java User Interfaces with JSF
- Prepare and execute unit and system tests
- Technical documentation of all delivered artifacts
- Analysis and fixing of defects and test environment issues
- Create solution proposals and estimations
