For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

Project Management Officer - IT Infrastructure Architecture Knowledge (3406)

In this role you will provide essential support to Project Managers to assist them in the project planning, financial control, reporting and tracking of risks, issues and dependencies.

Your qualifications:

- 4 years experience in project management / project management office
- Project management qualification such as Prince2, PMI or similar
- Thorough knowledge of the project lifecycle and PM tools such as MS Project
- High degree of proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Excel and Powerpoint
- Good understanding of IT Infrastructure
- Project financial management
- Excellent communication/presentation (oral and written) and report writing skills
- High degree of flexibility with a “can do” attitude
- Strong problem solving skills
- Solution oriented
- Experience of dealing with senior management
- Proactive, driven and energetic
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Experience with CA Clarity and/ or JIRA would be highly appreciated
- IT Infrastructure Architecture knowledge mandatory

The role:

- Responsible for assisting the project and programme managers in the following:
- Project plan structuring, scheduling and levelling
- Resource allocation
- Dependency tracking
- Financial Management
- Assistance in business case development and tracking
- Capex and fixed price tracking
- Status, Progress, status, forecast and project accounting
- Controlling
- QA Mgmt.
- Risk and issue monitoring and management
- Reporting & Communication
- Communication concept including tools (intranet, mails, internal meetings)
