Bosshard & Partner is looking with Mandate 3253for a Senior Streambase / Java Developer (f/m) with strong Linux-Knowledge
Project environment
A Swiss Private Bank.
Tasks
• Developing new features for current and new applications in line with the business specifications in the area of Trading and Pricing (Equity / FX) which requires experience in high throughput, low-latency, variety of integrations and high availability systems.
• Being part of the Linux system administration, monitoring and scripting to setup, automate and optimize the applications through all environments (including production).
• Developing Unit Tests, participate in the System Integration Testing and get involved with the User Acceptance Testing.
• Supporting production applications troubleshooting.
Requirements
• Bachelor/ Polytechnic/ University in IT.
• 7-10 years’ experience in software development.
• +5 years with practical experience using Complex Event.
• Processing systems such as TIBCO StreamBase/Apama or others.
• Significant experience with multi-threaded and/or asynchronous programming with Java.
• Expert-level Linux administration and shell scripting skills.
• Relational database experience such as Oracle, SQL Server, including database design and SQL enhancement.
• Good knowledge in FX and Structured Products.
• Good experience to work in an international, dynamic and diversified environment.
• Experience with enterprise messaging including IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, TIBCO Rendezvous, TIBCO FTL is a plus.
• Experience with NoSQL and BigData solutions including elasticsearch, MongoDB is a plus.
• Experience with FIX protocol development is a plus.
• Experience with continuous integration systems (TeamCity, Jenkins) is a plus.
• Experience with build automation tools (Maven, Gradle) is a plus.
Soft skills
• Fluent in English, written and spoken, German is an asset.
• Very strong communication skills.
• Very motivated individual who enjoys new challenges.
• Able to work independent / taking ownership.
• Very good team player.
