Windows/VMware ESX System Administrator (w/m) 100%
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within a financial institution, we are looking for a Windows/VMware ESX System Administrator. For this long-term contract position in Zürich our client is looking for an English and German speaking candidate who can as soon as possible.
Job Summary/Responsibilities
- Support and installation of virtual Infrastructure, incl. administration and maintenance activities for complex VMware ESX based server platform
- Lifecycle and migration activities
- Performance analysis with ITPAM (Netuitive) monitoring and RVTools utility set
- Coordination of the specific tasks in Windows Servers
- Support of high available Windows and ESX server systems
- Incident-, Problem-, Change-Management
- Root cause analysis and implementation of sustainable solutions
- Create, revise and update technical documentation
You offer
- Apprenticeship in Information Technology or an adequate/higher education
- 5+ years experience as a System Administrator of:
- Windows 2003, 2008 and 2012
- VmWare ESX/vSphere
- Practical experience in Incident-, Problem and Change Management
- Knowledge in Powershell/PowerCLI
- Knowhow of SAN attached Systems
- Excellent German and English communication skills in written and spoken
