For a position/project at one of our customers, in Baden we are looking for aSecurity Threat Manager (m/f) 100%
BdU Consulting AG provides various services in the IT sector in cooperation with large and established companies. This position is a project with a length of approximately 12 months, starting ASAP. You will work in an international environment in a global company.
This role has the responsibility to ensure that the customer has up-to-date information about any threats to the customer’s IS assets (systems, applications etc.) and users; that the threats are, where applicable, correlated with the assets, evaluated and assessed according to the risk exposure for the customer; that stakeholders are properly informed and that appropriate actions are initiated and followed-up.
Tasks:
+ Identify security threats and propose solutions/mitigations by using the central threat management platform (currently Dell Secure Works)
+ Perform a (technical) risk assessment on the affected IS assets with regards to the reported threats and define actions to take to remediate the threat, if any
+ Initiate timely implementation of actions with application and infrastructure operations (including external service providers)
+ Communicate threats and recommended remediation actions to the impacted organizations, as appropriate
+ Follow-up on the implementation of the remediation actions
Requirements:
+ Graduate level with IT focus or equivalent practical experience
+ At least 4 years business experience in IT/IS
+ At least 2 years of experience in Information Security
+ Deep knowledge of security techniques & methodologies
+ Servers / clients / mobile devices / appliances / OSs / common applications, databases / middleware - in-depth knowledge
+ Team player & multicultural sensitivity
+ Good communications and interaction skills, including Stakeholder and Supplier management
