For a project at our banking client’s site here in Zurich, we are looking for aSupporter for the Credit Risk Office Production Team (3304)
This is an interesting role in the "CRO IT production support" team. The CRO team provides a portfolio of services, which includes 2nd level support for the CRO business users.
Your qualifications:
- University (or equivalent) qualification in an IT/Scientific subject
- 5 years’ plus experience in an IT Support role (ideally in front or middle office in IB)
- Fundamental Banking/Finance/Risk knowledge is required
- Practical experience with Unix/Linux and Shell Scripting
- Experience with SQL (ideally Oracle / Sybase)
- Batch/Control-M experience is a strong plus
- ITIL V3 certificate is a strong plus
- Knowledge of multiple technologies is an advantage: Excel, VBA, C#/ASP.NET, Java, C++
- Skills in Incident-/Problem-, Release- and Change Management (from a production perspective)
- Good understanding of monitoring modelling/practices
- Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus
Your responsibilities:
- IT Support for the issues reported against CRO IT applications and resolve them in a timely manner
- Monitoring of scheduled batch jobs, as well as the identification of process improvements (e.g. automation of the manual monitoring process)
- Responsibility for the OLAs and SLAs between IT to IT and IT to business
- Proactive communication of batch job delays to users and senior management
- Escalation of critical and high priority issues to the senior management
- Full root cause analysis and a detailed investigation of issues in the agreed time
- Ownership for the IT/incident tickets open in the area of responsibility
- Subject Matter Expert for one or more applications in the application portfolio
- Strong collaboration with the application development teams and the other relevant interfaces
