A Medical Device Company in Switzerland is searching for a Mechanical EngineerAs an experienced engineer, you will analyze and optimize components for accessory products and consumables for the client medical devices that are on the market. You accompany the products throughout their life cycle as part of an interdisciplinary team from market launch to discontinuation.
Your area of ??activity includes the following tasks in particular:
- Working closely with internal departments and suppliers and play a central role
- Evaluation of the determined data, creation of prototypes and test reports as well as derivation and communication of factually founded conclusions
- Adaptation and optimization of production-relevant documents in our systems (CAD, ERP)
- Ensuring product quality and costs in relation to our high standards
- Carrying out tests using existing instructions and developing new methods and test plans based on the results
- Coordination of the implementation of these conclusions for ongoing series products
Qualifications:
You also have the following profile:
- Good knowledge of German and English
- Completed master's degree in mechanical engineering, precision engineering or plastics technology (FH / ETH)
- Min. 10 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Interest in optimizing consumer goods in the field of medical technology
- Ability to analyze complex issues and to present corresponding conclusions in an understandable way to an interdisciplinary team and then to implement them efficiently
- Previous knowledge in the field of data evaluation and statistics, as well as experience with testing products
- Good knowledge and interest in the field of plastics technology and pneumatics is desirable
- Experience in construction with a 3D CAD program
- Experience in programming with Matlab or similar programs
