Senior Network Architect, Cisco, Financial Services, Investment Banking, Commodities Trading, Geneva, Switzerland.
My client are a global commodities trading company with 30+ offices worldwide. Due to a large investment in their technology portfolio and a huge infrastructure transformation programme, they have an urgent requirement for a Senior Network Architect.
The Architect will be the global Network Design Authority and take ultimate responsibility for the design and delivery (from a technology perspective), of a robust, fully scalable Cisco based WAN across their office and global datacentre footprint.
The successful candidate must have experience delivering architectural definition for large-scale network solutions, preferably within a large financial services or telecommunications organisation. You'll be experienced in both strategic network planning and operational network delivery. You will have excellent communication skills, excellent technical skills, the ability to manage a small team of hands on engineers and be willing to work on a contract basis in Geneva, Switzerland at least 4 days per week.
