For our banking client in Zürich we are curretnly looking for a Costs & Compensations Framework Analyst:

START: 01.09.15

Duration: 9 months

Location Zürich

The Costs and Compensation Controlling team is within the Financial Accounting & Control function and is responsible for the processing and accounting of all costs, the accounting for all costs and compensation related activities and the allocation of costs (including GCT) to the respective customers.

FAC Costs and Compensation is implementing a new target operating model through the Taking Finance Forward initiative and as a result the governance and control framework is to be reviewed and updated in line with the new operating model. The Head of Costs and Compensation Controlling is looking for assistance in designing and implementing the changes in the control framework.

The successful candidate will have:

- a strong risk and control mind-set, potentially with experience in audit, governance of transformational projects.

- Inquisitive with excellent problem solving skills and high attention to detail

- Good understanding of FTB processes and associated controls

- Ability to understand, and not lose sight of the "big picture" when operating in the detail

- Ability to anticipate client needs to recommend and/or deliver services which exceed expectations

- Quick learner with a strong results orientation and ability to work in a Matrix reporting structure

- Strong verbal, writing and interpersonal skills.

- Self-motivated contributor who is comfortable working independently on multiple assignments and has the ability to look ahead to anticipate and manage around challenges

- Ability to challenge while displaying good judgement ability

- Having prior experience of internal controls, risk, audit, process excellence or project management is an advantage

- Fluent in English

Specific responsibilities include, but not limited, to the following:

  • Support the delivery of committed strategic and tactical remediation of control weaknesses and ensure remediation commitments are met.
  • Support the development and delivery of control effectiveness and process efficiency metrics.
  • Support internal control functions in the execution and resolution of risk and control points.
  • Prepare presentations for senior management updates, as required.
  • Support and manage the planning, organization, and execution of FAC initiatives.
