Coba IT is once again working in partnership with our Zurich based client, one of the world's leading Banking and Investment institutions. We are looking to recruit an Project Engagement Manager to help drive a specific project in line with the client's business IT strategy for 2015.
The successful Project Engagement Manager will be responsible for driving migrations and meeting targets to realise benefits defined by the aforementioned IT strategy and will liaise with the project team to ensure all the components are in place to execute the migration.
Key responsibilities:
* Drive day to day demand and migrations in order to achieve migration targets
* Deal with day to day challenges with migration planning
* Work with ISL's to ensure DBaaS candidates are forecasted, requested, and executed
* Provide ISL's/LoB's updates
* Highlight risks/issues/road blocks
* Migration readiness & migration scheduling
* Decommissioning
* Ensure standard tools and processes are used
* Support ISL's with analysis work
Experience specific:
* Have a broad understanding of Database technology and the financial sector
* Ideally have 5+ years' experience in Project Management, Delivery/Transformation Projects and Relationship Management
* Demonstrate technical knowledge in Database services and IT Infrastructure
* Demonstrate strong experience analysis and problem solving
* Demonstrate strong experience in preparing presentations and running meetings
* Demonstrate experience to meet targets in a pressurised environment
Experience general:
* Proactive approach to work
* Have strong client service orientation, teamwork skills and influencing/negotiation skills
* Be accustomed to working independently, innovate and work to deadlines
* Ability to understand the technical details, yet skilled to influence management
* Have proven interpersonal and communications skills to establish excellent working relationships with a wide variety of people
* Be structured, systematic and analytical in their approach
* In addition the candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a Technology field although this is not a mandatory requirement
