For our banking client based in Zurich we are currently looking for a
Junior Project Manager Credit Risk - German speaking
Location. Zurich
Start Date. ASAP
Duration 6 months.

As Project Manager, you are responsible for defining, leading and managing the delivery of large and complex change projects and initiatives for your program
The role involves:
- Drive overall risk delivery stream with in front to back program
- Manage off-shore BA and testing team
- Attend weekly governance calls (design, working group, control etc.)
- Allocate resources and oversee analysis tasks
- Report status to various governance committees
- Manage monthly budget submission
- Resolve interdepartmental analysis issues
- Drive design, documentation, change request sign-off
- Senior stakeholders management
- Manage project materials; look at project plans, risks, issues management tools
- Provide guidance and recommendations when required
- Propose new initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the program
- Ensure deliverables meet required quality standards
- Develop and maintain a Communications Plan
- Produce progress and other management reports
The candidate must have:
- Strong business knowledge of the Banking Industry and/or Financial Services
- Significant experience of embedding risk management in a complex organization
- Strong understanding of Regulator delivery programs, ideally in Risk and Finance
- Good understanding of market and credit risk data and processes
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks and people
- Proven ability to communicate with all levels of management in a clear, concise manner
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, leadership, written and verbal communication skills
Other attributes:
- Strong project management skills and proven successful front to back program delivery
- Experience with managing off-shore team
- Achieving results - be aware of key risk objectives, and ensure these are applied appropriately to all activities
- Building relationships - able to develop effective relationships with risk function staff, and be recognized as providing a supporting role
- Project and Change management/Coordination experience
- Experience working with and reporting to senior stakeholders across financial and operational functions of the business
- Knowledge of full project life cycle
- Keep yourself updated with the risk culture
Other skills and qualifications:
- University undergraduate degree
- Recognized relevant professional qualification (eg Prince 2, PMI, etc.)
