Citrix System Administrator wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
Your experience/skills:
- 5+ years of working experience supporting Citrix XA 6.5 & 7.6 infrastructure and Remote Access infrastructure in a large scale enterprise class environment across global zones
- Solid working experience with Citrix Netscaler technology, VMware ESX and Atlantis, application deployment via SCCM, and Citrix Edgesight
- Strong hands-on experience with Citrix Web Interface, Citrix Storefront, Citrix XenDesktop 7.x as well as experience with Juniper SA SSL VPN appliances and other VPN technologies
- Excellent knowledge of Visual Basic and PowerShell Scripting and ITIL processes and procedures
- Working experience within a team with ability to work under stress as well as working experience within a global environment across multiple time zones
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Providing L3 support including change implementation of enterprise class remote computing solutions
- Acknowledging and supporting the escalations from level 1 and 2 support teams
- Managing global Citrix, VMware and remote access Infrastructure incidents during EMEA hours with an element of weekend coverage for any Sev 1/2 escalations
- Monitoring the established procedures and processes to ensure that audit and regulatory requirements are met
- Taking part, supporting and analysing during BCM tests as well as following company standards and procedures including security and change control
- Contributing in projects including initial technical evaluation, providing design and implementing plans to respective stakeholders according to project requirements
