Senior Business Project Manager/Business Analyst (Banking book products)

On behalf of our client, a leading global company, we are looking for a Senior Business Project Manager/Business Analyst with solid knowledge of banking book products. The successful candidate would work on a BCBS Interest Rate Risk regulatory requirements project. For this contract position based in Zurich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Role:

  • Drive overall risk delivery stream with in front to back program
  • Attend weekly governance calls (design, working group, control etc.)
  • Allocate resources and oversee analysis tasks
  • Report status to various governance committees
  • Resolve interdepartmental analysis issues
  • Drive design, documentation, change request sign-off
  • Senior stakeholders management
  • Manage project materials; look at project plans, risks, issues management tools
  • Provide guidance and recommendations when required
  • Propose new initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the programme
  • Ensure deliverables meet required quality standards
  • Develop and maintain a Communications Plan
  • Produce progress and other management reports

Skills:

  • Strong business knowledge of the Banking Industry and/or Financial Services
  • Deep understanding and experience on the banking book products
  • Significant experience working on regulatory requirements projects (ideally BCBS319)
  • Strong understanding of Regulator delivery programs, ideally in Risk and Finance
  • Experience with stress testing
  • Good understanding of market and credit risk data and processes
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks and people
  • Proven ability to communicate with all levels of management in a clear, concise manner
  • Excellent organisational, problem solving, leadership, written and verbal communication skills
