Test Engineer /Windows technology wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector. Your experience/skills: Proven track record in test case design, test execution and Defect Management Strong understanding of testing and delivery lifecycle methodologies as well as test tools (e.g. HP ALM Quality Center, UFT/QTP, JIRA, etc.) Strong technical knowledge of Windows Client Environment and of integrating clients systems with other core infrastructure components Solid know how of Windows Operating Systems (focus Windows 10) and testing/debugging applications on a Windows platform MSI and packaging methodologies, knowledge of VBS & PowerShell Knowledge of WMI, Active Directory and Windows Server Previous experience of integration work Experience of Virtualizing Desktop Environment and Citrix technologies Your tasks: Preparing and conducting unit and integration tests together with the QA teams Supporting the QA/Test lead in test management tasks (environment, tools, data, test readiness, etc.) and helping represent the test team with internal/external stakeholders Carrying out defect management on all test levels, retests and early escalation of risks Supporting QA/Test Reporting and QA/Test Dashboards covering all test levels Planning, controlling, assuring and improving test planning, test design, test execution, test data, test infrastructure, test tools, test environments, bug tracking and test reporting Generating test data, test cases, assuring bug tracking and developing automated test scripts Start: Duration: 6MM++ Location: Zurich, Switzerland Ref.Nr.: BH8939 Does that sound interesting?
