SAP BI/BW Senior Engineer

Location: Basel (onsite needed)
- SAP Business Intelligence Analysis and development
- Support the definition and implementation of a planning tool for Business plan and target setting as well as driving the support process across all regions and functions
- Working closely with Finance Business Planning and Lead an offsite deployment team (located in Europe); breakdown tasks of the team, follow-up and support them. Once solution is ready hand over to the deployment team for sustainable operations
- Communicate updates to the business as well as the offsite team
- Support Hiring Manager and step in as a back-up when needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering
- 10+ years of professional IT experience
- 10+ years of SAP BI, IP (Integrated Planning) and BPS
- 5+ years hands-on experience in ABAP, OO as well as ABAP for BW
- Analysis and Solution design experience with Business Objects focused on Design Studio and Analysis Office, reporting and planning
- Hands-on knowledge of Webdynpro and BPS programming
- Web development and design including usability, CSS and JavaScript will be beneficial
- In depth knowledge as a Business Analyst (as developer) and coordinator for Global Solutions working with both onsite and offshore teams
- Customer orientated with strong communication skills in English
