For our banking client in Zürich we are currently looking for a Category Management Post-trade and Brokerage & Exchange fees:

START: 22.06.16

DURATION: 9 months

LOCATION: Zürich

Your role

Do you challenge status quo and drive change?

Do you understand our industry's challenges, assess their impact and use them to our advantage?

Do you know how to engage senior stakeholders' and manage their expectations?

We're looking for someone like that who can:

Establish transparency on external spend in the cost categories "brokerage & exchange fees" and "post-trade services" across the bank.
Collaborate with business representatives across all divisions to identify and develop a portfolio of both tactical and strategic cost savings opportunities

Document and oversee portfolio of cost savings opportunities including business case generation and oversee their implementation with business representatives globally

Provide PMO support to the project team, in particular documenting and maintaining opportunities trackers, financials savings, project plans, regular project reporting and creating of steering committee presentations
Engage with external parties to benchmark services and cost of transaction versus industry peers
Liaise with various SME groups across the firm to understand market trends, competitive maneuvering of infrastructure providers as well as market initiatives and formulate strategies to leverage those to the firms benefits

Your team
  • You'll be working in the newly created Cost & Commercial Management team in Zürich as part of the global Network Management & Commercial Services (NCS) area. The team has been created due to a firm wide category management sponsored by the firms COO and CFO. Focus will be on significantly reducing the firms Post-trade and Brokerage & Exchange cost lines with more than CHF 1.3bln in external spend p.a.
Your experience and skills

You have:

  • A strong analytic background with a flair for numbers, ideally with finance experience
  • PMO experience and experience in what it takes to run successful projects in a global organizations with a diverse stakeholder base
  • A track record of developing, driving and implementing chang
  • Ideally background in a similar role in the financial services industry and good understanding of banking operations
  • Ideally post-trade and investment bank brokerage & exchange know-how

You are:

  • driven and analytical to understand and find solutions in a complex but rewarding environment
  • collaborative in nature, a consultant and a team player
  • fluent in English, excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • flexible, professional and motivated to add value in the team and the bank
