Senior System Engineer
On behalf of our client, a large global financial organization, we're looking for a Senior System Engineer to assist their desktop engineering team based in Zurich.
Summary
This role is for a Senior System Engineer who will join highly skilled desktop engineering team responsible for design and produce secure, stable, and with good user experience build for desktop, laptop, VM and tablet based on Microsoft landscape. In this particular role candidate will concentrate on engineering new build based on Windows 10, which will be introduced across the whole bank.
Tasks
The Senior Desktop Lead Engineer will be required to take business requirements from product management, gather and take into the account all requirements related to bank enterprise architecture and answer to them with technical solutions during engineering process of new Windows10 build releases. The Candidate will be involved in the optimization of the build and work in areas such as performance in the terms of speed to loading applications, overall performance, login times, policy load times, configuration management and vulnerability management.
Qualifications
Needs to be experienced in the creation and deployment of desktops/work station/end user solutions into large environments
Deep knowledge of systems customization.
Experience of working in environment as part of a team supporting or engineering Windows client deployments.
Understanding of Enterprise Architecture, virtualization, VDI, hands on experience in Big Environements (50000+ end points)
Must have strong technical knowledge of Windows Client Environment and of integrating Clients systems with other core Infrastructure components
Familiarity in in-depth troubleshooting of problems with Active Directory and GPO
- At least 10 years Windows engineering
- Thorough knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7, Windows10)
- Knowledge and experience in system management and deployments software (SCCM)
- Knowledge of PowerShell & VBS
- Knowledge of Windows Client deployment
- Knowledge of Active Directory
- Knowledge of Windows Server
