For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for a

Senior Risk Management Committee Support

Start date: mid of May 2016

Duration: 3months + (option to go for perm)

Location: Zurich

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Board Members and the Chief Risk Officer on Board of Directors Risk Comate related matters incl. objective setting, agenda planning, alignment with the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors, meeting organization, speaker/content provider coordination, document screening and feedback to input providers, briefing meeting management, meeting materials management, minutes, pending items mgmt., ensure Confidentiality Agreement coverage and provide redacted meeting materials to regulators
  • Support the Chairmen to set-up and run a new Capital Allocation and Risk Management Committee of a Suisse Bank incl. meeting set-up, agenda planning, meeting organization, speaker/content provider coordination, document screening and feedback to input providers, briefing meeting management, meeting materials management, minutes, pending items mgmt. Support delivery of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) related topics, eg Risk Based Summary incl. Management Information/Analysis and Risk Appetite Plans
  • ERM COO Support Switzerland: Support as local point person for strategic Corporate Real Estate and Services (CRES) planning for ERM Switzerland incl. key contact towards CRES and ERM units in Switzerland

Required Skills/Experience:

Essential:

  • Proven track record of supporting Senior Executive Committees or Chief Operating Officers in Risk/Finance, eg as Committee Secretary/Meeting Manager or Senior Management Support (Chief of Staff)
  • Working experience in Risk or Finance for a bank (or higher Degree Education in Risk or Finance)
  • Ability to quickly understand complex risk and finance topics
  • Ability to gain consensus from multiple stakeholders
  • Strong relationship building and consultation skills as well as an ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with peers, management, key stakeholders and clients
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills combined with ability to document in a clear and concise way
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Excellent organizational skills

Desired:

  • Excellent spoken and written German
