For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for a Portfolio and Risk Project Manager
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6months +
Location: Zurich
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive project stream in Portfolio Advisory & Monitoring as a Business Project Leader in close cooperation with internal IT Provider/IT Project Manager from design into implementation and rollout
- Responsible for delivering project stream on time, budget and in scope
- Work jointly with IT and business organizations to implement effective business solutions
- Define business requirements together with business experts
- Support and challenge business ideas and enable changes
- Drive exchange with SMEs and coordinate project delivery to ensure that the needs of business stakeholders are met
- Clarify open questions regarding functionalities, design, implementation approach
- Work independently under the guidance of the program manager
- Support requests from front- and Back Office functions related to Advisory Reporting Tool
Required Skills/Experience:
Essential:
- University degree, preferably in Economics, Finance or Business Information Systems
- Several years of experience in project management within a leading international bank
- Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills with a strong solution orientation
- Excellent problem solving and strong business analytics capabilities
- Stress resistant team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication, negotation and expectation management skills
- "Can do" attitude, focus on delivery and value-add
- Strong presentation and communication skills, also towards senior stakeholders
- Talking and understanding IT language
- Fluent in English written and spoken
Desired:
- Creativity and passion to create, drive and implement new, innovative ideas
- Solid track record in conceptualizing and delivering sizeable solutions in a complex environment
- Knowledge of client advisory or front related areas, ideally in portfolio advisory
- German language knowledge would be an asset
