Introduction:
Since its founding in 1997 ITech Consult AG has expanded its network of freelance IT continuously. Today we have access to over 30,000 reported IT specialists (developers, system specialists, project managers, supporters, etc.) So we are able to present computer science professionals with the required profiles in a short term.
Purpose of Job:
Act as the main point of contact for all technical related questions, support and consulting requests in regards to SAP technologies (including HCP/HANA).
Main Responsibilities:
- Industrialize new development Technology by collaborating with ATEC in definition and maintenance of related development standards and being the bridge between ATEC (or any technical design team) and relay technology innovation (incl. cascade information/KT) to business partners.
- Assist Business Owners and Service Line with Technical skills to collaborate to projects in design & build phase, deliver Support/contribute to prototypes, technical architecture, review HLD provided by supplier on big/complex projects and code delivered or being delivered to avoid release of incorrect or inefficient deliverables.
- Support BS/RBS with ARM/DRM, check accuracy of development cost estimates (at work order phase or after delivery) and contribute to sustain the estimation models and metrics.
- Contribute to Quality of Services by monitoring services Key Performance Indicators (the technical ones) to raise awareness on deviations, propose, initiate and/or conduct drive transversal areas of improvement; and also managing the resolution of escalations related to technical implementation of developments (incl. triggered from Service Review)
- Continuous Improvement in Quality of Applications by contributing to root cause analysis and conduct/contribute to focused improvement initiatives (GSTD or more consistent DMAIC projects) in technology related area and proactively suggesting areas of improvements to be converted in Focused Improvement initiatives ( to be taken by the Supplier or within the service line)
- Acting as Subject Matter Expert in development activities related to his/her area of expertise
Key Qualifications/Skills:
- Deep understanding of complex functional business requirements and how to translate them into simple solutions based on full set of SAP technologies.
- Highly developed knowledge of corresponding development processes and models.
- Expert Technical Architect SAP: Solid management experience in ABAP and SAP knowledge and work experience.
- Experience of working in a context of partially or totally outsources development services.
- Used to work in "consultancy" mode without delivery responsibility.
- Resolution of problems in complex and heterogeneous environment without hierarchical relationships (supplier teams, GBS service recipients and other stakeholders)
