For a project at our client - an international Insurance company in Zurich - we are looking for an experienced
Senior Insurance Performance and Benchmarking Consultant (3531)
In this role as an Operations Performance & Benchmarking Architect you will support the development and implementation of a new operations performance management approach across all general insurance/general ledger business units globally. You will lead data analysis for business operations performance & benchmarking and generate relevant insights for the business units. Also you will establish relationships with operations senior management in the business units to drive efficient/effective performance dialogues.
Your qualifications:
- University & Master's degree and a minimum of 4 years work experience
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Good understanding of core insurance processes and experience across various functions in the insurance business
- Solid understanding of Operations and IT in financial industries, particularly insurance
- Program and/or project management methodology knowledge
- Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel and Powerpoint)
- Entrepreneurial mind-set
- Ability to see the big picture
- Strong presentation and influencing skills
- Proven capability in synthesizing data
- Ability to deliver high quality work under time pressure
- Ability to interact with and influence senior staff
- Project and event management
- Proven capability to work in an international environment
- Influencing and communication skills
- Fluent in English written and spoken
About the role:
- Support set-up of new performance & benchmarking capacity across business units globally including roll-out of pilots
- Independently interact with external consulting partners or benchmarking providers
- Lead data analysis of BU performance management including development of concepts/models for data analysis
- Generate insights and highlight potential performance issues/improvement opportunities
- Prepare presentations for senior management
- Document assumptions and results of performance management and benchmarking activities
- Build and maintain business partner relationships with senior operations managers
