For our customer, we would like to fill the following vacancy:Position: Technical writer 20% - flexible
Place of work: larger Basel area
Timeframe: February months +
Project aim:
System documentation has to be done for the enhancement and for the migration of IT project.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will need to author and revise technical documentation in English. He/she will have to interact with different stakeholders and the development team. Therefore he/she should have very good communication skills when following up with people, be interactive and accountable.
The assignment is 20%. The candidate must be flexible and able to work when needed. The candidate might have to work sometimes for a week, and then afterwards, will not have work for a few weeks.
The Project Manager normally provides at least 1 week notice.
Main tasks and duties:
- Create and maintain system documentation
- Enter requirements into Quality Assurance System
- Create User Acceptance Test Scripts
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a technical writer for Informatics systems
- Business English (required)
Nice to Haves:
++ Pharma experience
++ Familiarity with Computerized Systems Validation (preferred)
+ Familiarity with PMI Project Management Methodology (preferred)
+ Familiarity with HP ALM (preferred)
The assignment is currently through Q2 2016, but may be extended.
