Senior Instructional Designer
About the project:
The Corporate Identity Management (CIDM) project is responsible for implementing the new in-house Identity & Access Management platform (I&AM) across our External Business Partners. This global role will play a key part in helping to embed this important change across our External Business Partners and ensuring a successful roll-out for the platform.
About the role:
The role will report to the Training Manager (TM) Project Lead within the I&AM area. The job holder will support the TM Lead and play a key role in ensuring the CIDM External Business Partners project meet its objectives on time and to budget by creating training that ensures the successful adoption and usage of the new platform by both internal stakeholders and External Business partners. The focus will be on creating blended training including both classroom and E-learning. The job holder will be expected to identify and create training materials. The job holder will be expected to serve as a subject matter expert in training development and design within the project.
The role will require flexibility in that the workload will vary between 50% to 100%.
Workload has to be confirmed, but probably:
- 50% workload in February
- 70-100% in March and April
Main tasks:
- Work with Training Manager, to adjust and implement Training Plans.
- Apply a structured methodology to design and develop training courses for internal staff and external Business Partners.
- Prepare training scripts
- Design, and develop training workshops
- Support training efforts
- Develop instructional strategies,
- Implement evaluation measures to gather user satisfaction Responsible for the production of training materials in a variety of formats including classroom training, E-learning
- Provide assistance to trainers
Requirements:
- Sound knowledge of ID concepts, E-learning technologies (either Articulate Presenter/Storyline or Quizmaker- TT Knowledge Force (TTKF) or Adobe Captivate Lectora) and implementation strategies
- Formal Instructional design certification
- Experience in training needs, analysis, and curriculum design
- Strong skills in instructional design and content development
- Relevant commercial experience in a multinational company
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English)
- Structured approach, problem-solver, flexible and self-directed with communication skills able to work independently
- Experience of working in IT project implementation projects
- Strong technical writing, editing and proofreading skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent graphic Design Skills
- High proficiency in working virtually is essential
Nice to have:
- Strong interest in new technologies and familiar with the Google Suite
- Basic knowledge of Gamification (way/platform to develop trainings)
