Beschreibung

For our client in Zurich, we are looking for a Controller, for a 6 months' assignment

Key Responsibilities:

*Providing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on the KPIs (Management Information System) for the strategy monitored through department, sub-department and sector heads
*Providing monthly, quarterly and yearly reports of expenses charged for selected clients
*Ensuring the monthly controlling of outsourced account expenses including the accrual report, account netting and monthly closing process
*Ensuring monthly monitoring of department expenses
*Developing ad-hoc statistics and analyses for the department, clients, sub-department and sector heads and collaborating in the analyses for the strategic decision process
*Creating monthly statistics on quality assurance for all external top providers
*Providing the KPIs report for yearly agencies review
*Collaborating with management on satisfying ad-hoc requests coming from the department, finance and clients
*Developing all Excel control files to cover the different business needs at L&TS
*Supporting management on gathering and analysing key data from external units in order to evaluate the current charging situation and tracking opportunities to improve and consolidate the control mechanisms
*Supporting management on monitoring the strategic development of L&TS (Management Information System) and create monthly reports for Switzerland and RoW: China, Japan, Russia and Brazil
*Supporting management and controlling teams on analysing and interpreting developments and trends through the existing reporting and creating new ad hoc reports.
*Prepare Key Figures (current costs, budget, reporting, charging of cost centers, etc.) and appropriate
presentations to support management
*Evaluate the figures in order to elaborate business cases in order to propose new operating models in collaboration with the line and project mgmt (Zurich and London)

Required Skills/Experience:

Essential:

*Appropriate business education and controlling certification.
*Strong business acumen and ability to quickly understand business strategy and implications for L&TS
*A couple of years of experience in project controlling
*Technical knowledge and experience of MS Office tools, particularly Excel, including good skills in Macro Programming, and other controlling software.
*Experience of working in a large organization
*Good communication skills
*Excellent spoken and written English
*Ability and to analyze strategic and charging data to identify business improvement opportunities and trends.

Desired:

*Pleasure in working in a very complex framework with many dependencies and in developing new ideas and projects
*Strong relationship building and consultation skills as well as an ability to ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with peers, management, key stakeholders and clients.
*Excellent spoken and written German
*Experience of working in the Finance/Banking field as controller
