German speaking Senior Business Test Manager (Securities)

On behalf of our client, a leading global company, we are looking for a Senior Business Test Manager with Securities experience to work on a regulatory reporting project. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for a German speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Responsibilities:

  • You will take responsibility as a Senior Business Test Manager for topics like, test strategy, planning, design, E2E execution, defect management, documentation (ALM).
  • Drive exchange with SMEs and coordinate testing delivery to ensure that the needs of business stakeholders are met
  • Coordinate resolution of issues raised by the end users
  • Working independently under the guidance of a senior project lead
  • Proactively liaise with team leaders, business analysts and senior management stakeholders
  • Work with the development team to implement automated test cases
  • Provide sign off on test outcomes prior to go-live

Skills:

  • At least 5-7 years professional test and test management experience within Banking Industry and/or regulatory environments (especially securities know how)
  • Track record of working as Senior Business Test Manager in banking/finance environment
  • Be a self-starter, show initiative and a strong sense of ownership
  • Well-structured working style, reliable and dedicated, ability to handle a significant number of dependencies (conceptually strong and a delivery-oriented problem solver)
  • Strong analytic and problem solving skill
  • Good client communication skills/able to independently liaise with end users
  • Fluent English language knowledge

Desired:

  • Testing Certification(s)
  • Good understanding of current regulatory developments (eg FinfraG, EMIR, etc.)
  • Strong relationship building and consultation skills as well as an ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
  • Cultural sensitivity in order to work in a global environment
  • Good spoken and written German
