Test Manager, Derivatives, Regulatory Project, Banking (Contract, Zurich)
On behalf of our client, one of the most recognizable banking brands worldwide, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Test Manager with experience in the banking industry and knowledge of OTC and derivative products to work on the business side of a regulatory reporting project.
This is a rolling 6 month contract with a strong chance of extension and a start date in be January/February 2016.
As the successful applicant, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- 5+years of professional experience as a business side test manager within financial environments
- Proven experience working on projects in capital markets, private banking or wealth management
- Ideally a track record on regulatory projects and an understanding of developments in this area (eg EMIR, FinfraG etc)
- Good understanding of OTC and derivative products
- Fluency in English
As the successful candidate you would work on a global trade reporting project with the goal to deliver an integrated regulatory trade reporting platform for the PB & WM's global derivatives trading business.
Your responsibilities would include the following:
- You will take responsibility as a Senior Test Manager for topics like, test strategy, planning, design, E2E execution, defect management, documentation (ALM).
- Drive exchange with SMEs and coordinate testing delivery to ensure that the needs of business stakeholders are met
- Coordinate resolution of issues raised by the end users
- Working independently under the guidance of a senior project lead
- Proactively liaise with team leaders, business analysts and senior management stakeholders
- Work with the development team to implement automated test cases
- Provide sign off on test outcomes prior to go-live
