VoIP/Network Engineer
Our client a Swiss-based company is searching for a experienced Network Administrator with solid Know-How in VoIP for a Full time position in their Telecommunication Services department working out of their Zurich Switzerland offices.

Job Description
Network/VoIP engineer will manage and support the company's CISCO Unified Communications VoIP System, as well as, CISCO LAN, WAN & Security products both remotely and on-site within the central European region. This position will assume operational control and management of the EMEA telecom services, components and their configurations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The perfect candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in operating enterprise level network (LAN, WAN & Voice Services) solutions, as well as, a minimum of 2 years' of telecom solution design.
- Provide operational support for company-wide telecommunications infrastructure and proactively provides suggestions for service improvements.
- Performance Analysis & Tuning: Investigate, diagnose and solve all telecommunication related incidents according to existing Incident/Problem management procedures.
- Lead efforts to diagnose and resolve complex system configuration, production and deployment problems
- Maintenance & Reporting: Perform equipment, software and firmware updates as recommended by industry standards and directed by Network Manager
- Maintain and develop existing operational management tools to be able to report effectively on the services' quality.
- Proactive Incident and Problem Management: Liaise with service providers and assist in incident resolution (with follow up on corrective actions).
- Perform WAN and LAN assessments and analyzes equipment configurations for documentation, network topologies, and change control
- Special Projects: Participate in special projects as required. Plan, design and implement all network, telecommunications policies and procedures. Ensure that company IT assets are maintained responsibly.
- This position may travel, work extended hours or work on-call as needed in support of site installations, company events or IT deliverables
- Support and Troubleshooting with internal and external teams
Required Skills/Experience:
- Expert level of proven through possession of Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNA/CCNP) Voice and Routing and Switching Certification
- Solid analytical, prioritizing, planning, problem-solving and presentation skills
- Investigate alternatives and research development of strategic implementations of voice and network components; recommends Telecom solutions for short-, medium-, and long-range network projects
- Prior technology VoIP implementation and support experience with Enterprise type accounts
- Working knowledge and multi-year experience with the following products and technologies:
- VoIP Cisco CUCM, UCCX or UCCE
- Voice Recording
- Cisco Prime
- Cisco WLC (Not a must, simply willing to learn new stuffs)
- Very good Knowledge of English & French or German a must
- Willing to travel (10% - 15%)
- Excellent Experience with implementation of Cisco Network and Voice-Systems
