Due to a recent upturn in projects, my client is currently seeking 2 contract Systems Engineers to work with their team based in Switzerland.
My client is a well known OEM for aircraft and is interested in candidates that can demonstrate the following skills & expertise.
General:
Due to various new projects which my client has to finish in parallel, they are looking for two contractors.
For both positions they currently foresee an expected support time of 1 year+.
Due to the fact that a single project is not going to make a person to 100% busy during the whole time frame, they are looking for contractors which can take responsibility on one project and support the remainder of the team during their duties (creation of test and certification plans, test results documentation, certification reports, support during ground and rig tests etc)
It would be required that the person works on site.
The following fields should be covered:
General:
Broad avionics experience,
Familiar with civil certification rules
Experience during system ground and system rig tests (hands-on experience)
Working in a Design Organisation environment
Specific tasks which could be split for separate projects (one main project per contractor):
Experienced with external and internal (cockpit) aircraft lighting projects or
Experienced with RNP approach certification or
Experienced with HUD systems or
Experienced with Terrain Awareness Systems (TAWS/GPWS)
