For our banking client in Zurich we are looking for a Requirement Engineer Client Tax
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months
Location: Zurich
As the bridge between Business and IT, Requirement engineer has the opportunity to increase Business knowledge and/or technical skills within a domain, as well as improve generic skills (communication, negotiation, problem-solving, modelling, solution-delivery methods, networking, team management)
Key deliverables:
- Acts as consultant and subject matter expert for Business requests/pre-analysis/feasibility studies/scoping
- Defines & delivers approach, task planning and effort estimates for RE work
- Produces RE and TE artifacts with appropriate level of granularity for relevant phase of Business initiative (Business requirements, features list, requirements list, requirements specifications)
- Specifies feasible requirements, reviewed/signed-off by Business & project stakeholders
- Manages changes to requirements and ensures traceability between Business requests and RE and TE artifacts
- Reviews high-level design and test cases to ensure allignment to Business requirements
Qualifications/competencies:
- Strong analytical skills (critical thinking, problem solving, decision making)
- Strong communication skills (written & oral); evidence of fundamental consulting and communication skills (listening, writing, presentation, abstraction, and negotiation)
- Ability to work with different stakeholders/project roles (establishes and maintains productive working relationships within and outside of own area, with clients and teammates; respects conflicting points of views; influences key individuals inside and outside own group)
- Ability to work independently, take ownership and follow through to resolution
- Working experience in BE methodology (according to BABOK)
- General IT (eg IT architecture concepts, IT processes) and Banking knowhow
- Minimum work experience: 3 years as Business Engineer or 5 years overall (in another role)
