Communications and organisational change management (OCM) specialist (OCM Expert) for the Windows 10+ project

Remote work an option up to 20%, prior approval required. Starting with 60% availability (3 days a week) until end 2015 is an option; from Jan 2016 onward 100% availability (40 hours a week) is required.

Since its founding in 1997 ITech Consult AG has expanded its network of freelance IT continuously. Today we have access to over 30,000 reported IT specialists (developers, system specialists, project managers, supporters, etc). So we are able to present computer science professionals with the required profiles in a short term.
Main Task:
During the Initiate and Define phase, the candidate will support the Windows 10+ project manager and the coordinator for the site and business liaison to set up the project (project goals, internal communication, status reporting etc.) and to do a thorough stakeholder analysis. Furthermore formulate a plan on how to involve the stakeholders in the sites and the business functions; define communication strategy and prepare communication material for various channels (eg emails/newsletters, overview presentations, gSite, G+ Forum). Organize, prepare and moderate kick-off workshops with the sites and the business functions.
You are expected to
- Work closely with Windows 10+ project manager to set up project
- Perform stakeholder analysis and formulate stakeholder management plan
- Prepare communication material for various communication channels
- Assist in the implementation of OCM activities, incl. events, trainings, etc
- Prepare and facilitate OCM workshops
- Identify additional OCM activities that will ensure the success of the projects
- Develop and manage online and social media channels, incl content creation and coordinate with owners of global channels
- travel occasionally for workshops and kick-off events
Requirements:
University degree in Communication Management preferred 5 years of relevant experience in multinational company Experience in workshop facilitation
Track record of coordinating OCM activities successfully on projects Experience in change projects, certification in change methodologies such as Prosci a plus
>3 Yrs Project management experience
Certification PMP and/or Prince2
Structured approach, problem-solving, flexible and self-directed with analytical skills
Excellent English language skills (ideally English native speaker or equivalent proficiency) additional languages a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interest in new technologies and familiar with Google Suite (esp. gSites and G+ forums)
Experience in desktop migration projects a plus Experience with creating training approaches and trainings a very big plus (relevant if candidate's assignment is extended after Initiate and Define phase)
Knowledge of Operating System Windows 7 and/or Windows 8
