Java Developer - Spring Boot / Kafka - Long term contract opportunity to join a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sectorYour tasks:
- Developing the data integration and business services using micro-services and ensuring applications are performing and tested against the requirements
- Assuring the compliance with CI/CD and automated testing and build the pipeline
- Contributing to the operations of the team's microservices during test cycles and in production also understand the architectural issues and factor them into the decisions and recommendations
- Preparing unit test for automated testing and performing the code reviews
- Fixing the bugs and issues in deployed applications and demonstrate the expert understanding of the Java application development stack and tools
Your experience/knowledge:
- Extensive experience as Java developer with the strong knowledge of micro-services implemented with Spring Boot
- Profound experience with relational databases (Postgres is a plus)
- Familiarity with messaging and stream processing architectures built on Kafka
- Strong foundation in end to end unit and integration testing.
- Capability to work in a DevOps team
- Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken
