Job Titel: Historian System Engineer (m/w/d)My client is seeking for a highly skilled Historian System Engineer to join their pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Switzerland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the architecture, implementation, maintenance, and support of the OSIPI System landscape within the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in OSISoft solutions, and a good understanding of the pharmaceutical manufacturing process.
The main duties in this position are::
- Analyzing client requirements and designing solutions using OSIsoft PI.
- Configuring and integrating PI with other systems, including databases, historian systems, and SCADA systems.
- Developing a process data management strategies to standardize various time-series databases
- Development of a global architecture for storing, contextualizing and analyizinag process data
- Implementation of an integration layer to standardize connections of new systems
- Leading implementation and change projects
- Extension of the system with asset and event information
- Development of custom apps e.g. for mobile data collection using the DevOps process
- Testing and documenting of custom solutions
- Support for inspections in cooperation with the Q organization
- Supporting production / technical Service and troubleshooting
Profil:
- Completed technical studies (FH/TU) with a focus on automation technology, OT, IT or completed training with 3+ years experience.
- Professional experience in automation or production-related IT with strong background in data management
- Hands-on experience with interfacing technologies like OPC-UA/DA/EA to process historian
- Knowledge of programming language like Python, C# and SQL.
- Experience in data visualization and analysis tools
- Knowledge of hosting, network and cyber security is desirable
- Experience in the GMP regulated environment

- Very good communication skills and pronounced organizational skills
- very good knowledge of German and English.
