Beschreibung

For one of our customers we are looking for experienced Database Administrators (Senior/Junior) x 12 to migrate thousands of databases to new strategic platforms.

Tasks Include:
• Interacting with application teams to plan and execute the migrations
• Perform all technical tasks related to the move
• Building and documenting migration paths for new technologies
• Providing support to other members of the team
• Willing to work unsociable hours to meet the goals of the team
• Ability to work independently and set own priorities

Your experience and skills:
• You are an experienced Oracle DBA with time spent in the banking sector
• Production support experience of Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c, 18c, 19c RAC, Data guard and GG
• You have built and supported High Availability solutions, using varied technologies
• You can speak well and able to communication your ideas and work closely with application teams
• You have prior experience in migrating databases to new platforms using multiple techniques
• Able to report on progress in a clear and timely fashion
• Database upgrades & migrations, cloning backup, restore & recovery using RMAN
• Diagnose and resolve performance, connectivity, security and database corruption issues in a critical production environment
• All above applicable to infrastructure which has standalone and RAC databases using file-system based or ASM based storage
• Familiar in Unix system administration relevant to Oracle database management
• Experience in RAC/ASM, Grid Control Management, Golden Gate replication
