Job description:
Within the division "Transformation & Technology" in the domain "Property & Casualty" in the team "Quote & Buy"
In the Quote & Buy team we have a trainee who is supposed to build knowledge in the area of frontend development, starting with CSS and JavaScript+Typescript, but going forward also with frameworks like react. Background is that currently a different team inside who is providing this as a service to Quote & Buy but going forward this should be done within our team. We are searching someone who is very experienced in these areas and can take over the code as the first step (as fast as possible). The second step is than to hand over the code to our team (and help them to build up the capabilities).
Responsibilities:
- Take over the CSS, JavaScript/Typescript code from another team and help with maintaining and developing based on this code
- Step by step hand over the code to dedicated members of the Quote & Buy team
- Acting as a mentor to help the team members to build up the knowledge to be able to maintain and develop based on the code
Skills and Qualifications:
- Very deep knowledge and experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript
- Experience with responsive HTML/Frameworks (ideally React)
- Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale projects from end-to-end
- Sticks to the whole software development lifecycle including requirements, testing, quality checks, documentation, etc.
- Languages: German and ideally English
- Should think from a customers point of view
- Willing to actively share knowledge with others and strong teamwork
