Java Backend Developer vacancy requiring profound Kafka knowledge for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.Your tasks:
· Building, testing and deploying new tools, services and product features
· Interacting with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high quality products and services that meet business requirements and expectations
· Delivering high-quality code
· Driving and improving the system continuously
Your experience/knowledge:
· Expert knowledge of Java backend programming, REST interfaces, Container platform Kubernetes and CI/CD pipeline
· Strong knowledge and experience with streaming (Kafka)
· Very good general understanding and experience with modern software development and a background in taking ownership e2e in all application related topics
· Experienced working close with architecture and owning artifacts such as Solution Design, Security Concept, Interface Spec etc.
· University Degree in computer science
· Language skills: English and German - fluent in written and spoken
Your soft skills:
· Good presentation skills and visualization of issues and solution in Powerpoint and Visio
· Team oriented, flexible, proactive, autonomous, persistent and sustainable
