For our client, a global bank in Zurich, we are looking for a Application Manager for the strategic Global Order Service.Tasks
- Application Manager and Responsible for the strategic Global Order Service (GOS)
- End-to-end ownership for all application related topics (application management, running a devops setup, scaling operations via 2nd level support etc.)
- Working closely with architecture and owning artifacts such as Solution Design, Security Concept, Interface Spec etc.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Java backend programming, REST interfaces, Container platform Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines (Docker, Harbor, Jenkins, Octopus)
- Strong knowledge and experience with streaming (Kafka)
- Generally very good understanding and experience with modern software development (continuous delivery pipeline automation with appropriate tools resp. gitlab, unit test coverage etc.)
- Good visualization of issues and solution in Powerpoint and Visio. As such drives Big Picture and context
- Capability to analyze complex and poorly defined problems related to the application and to provide solutions with minimal guidance from the superior
- Certified Agilist and/or Scaled Agilist (SAFe) is a plus
- Knowledge in financial sector resp. specific business knowledge (e.g. order management, trading) is a plus
- Fluency in German and English
