Senior/Lead Python Software Engineer - 12 Month Contract - Zurich, Switzerland (Hybrid)
Great opportunity for an experienced Java Developer to join one the world's largest reinsurers, based in Zurich!
The team's mandate is to build reliable and accurate software to process heavily structured financial data. The data we process is business critical and used to support internal and external financial reporting. Given the importance of our work we apply "proper" software engineering principles.
Responsibilities:
- Write clean code in Python (utilizing Apache Spark).
- Review other team member's code and coach other team members.
- Work on design topics and work on, or influence, other components that interact with our data processing pipelines and business services using microservices.
