Description:
• Work closely with the engineering team to identify and implement the optimal cloud-based solutions for the company
• Define and document best practices & strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance
• Provide guidance through leadership, and mentorship to development teams to build cloud competencies
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design
• Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures
• Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required
Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience with GCP/AWS
• Experience in the majority of the following areas: ETL, business intelligence, machine learning, database architecture
• Strong experience working on Linux based infrastructure
• Skilled with git
• Proficient with YAML & JSON
• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible
• Knowledge of DevOps and Agile principles
• Proven ability to collaborative with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject matter experts
• Proficiency in English
